Fourth of July Celebration with Friends

10:02 am on Saturday, July 8, 2006

On Tuesday morning the Mortons and Smiths rode up together (the Smiths had been at the Morton’s house visiting). It was a wonderful visit because some of us hadn’t seen each other since Katie and Alan’s wedding. Oh, and by the way, their first child is on the way!  Katie is just starting to show. How exciting! Later in the day some other friends the Hardy Family, Hosea, and the Whatley Family came over. The afternoon was filled with swimming, obstacle course runs, watermelon snacking, games and many other adventures.

The younger ones swimming while the mothers enjoy each others company.

Here, take this!

Madara, is a girl from Latvia who, with her brother, is staying with the Smiths this summer. She is so sweet!

Little Ivo, Madara’s brother.

Look at that spread of food!
